Ben Komets is a force of nature in Miniature Painting. Having painted for over a decade, he is recognized for his intricate and realistic painting style, as well as for pioneering the "Loaded Brush Technique."“The best projects are those where the good execution supports the story”, he concludes. Also, he loves a good competition!
Attending painting contests all around the world in the last 20 years, he truly is a veteran of all things painted, awarded with roughly 30 Golden Demons, several Best of Shows, including 3 Slayerswords, and the title Grand Maestro of Monte San Savino.
He was born and raised in the wonderful City of Berlin,where he works as a full-time Miniature Artist.
Foremost, he is known for instructional videos over at his own Patreon Channel, Paintingbuddha or Miniature Mentor.Besides the painting videos, he has painted several boxarts for various companies such as Nutsplanet, Black Sun Miniatures, Mierce Miniatures, and Kimera, just to name a few.
